About this site and disclaimer
Who runs Airdrop Safety, how guides are written and reviewed, what this site will never do, and the disclaimer.
Airdrop Safety is a free, independent collection of guides on staying safe while using crypto, with a focus on airdrops, where scams are especially common.
What this site is
- Educational content only. Every page explains how a common attack works and how to protect yourself.
- Free and ad-free. There are no ads, no sponsored content, no referral links and no affiliate links.
- Independent. We do not promote any token, exchange, wallet or project. Products and services are mentioned by name only where that helps explain something, and a mention is not an endorsement.
What this site will never do
- Ask you to connect a wallet.
- Ask you to sign a message or transaction.
- Ask for a seed phrase, private key, password or 2FA code.
- Offer a token, an airdrop, a claim, a giveaway or an investment.
- Send you DMs or offer "recovery" services.
This site contains no forms, no wallet connection code and no third-party scripts. Every page is static HTML. If you see anything else claiming to be Airdrop Safety, it is not us.
How guides are written
Guides are written from public documentation of wallets, token standards and security tools, guidance from consumer protection and law enforcement agencies, and published research on scams. Each page shows a "Last reviewed" date. Attacks change quickly. If you find something out of date or wrong, please tell us so we can fix it.
